Why did you get involved with the ACTG, and what are some of the things you’ve done as a member?

I got involved in research and the ACTG because of a cousin that I lost. Everything he went through has made my journey easier.

Diverse!

What are the most important treatment issues to your community?

Knowledge about treatment, adherence to treatment, knowledge of PrEP

How do you want your work in the ACTG to be remembered?

That I was consistent and shared my experience with HIV and my experiences with research as a participant.

What are your future hopes for the ACTG and HIV research?

To be here in this capacity when I have 20 years in, for treatment at that time to be even better, and for the stigma to end.
